 ದೇವನಹಳ್ಳಿ ಪುರಸಭೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಬೇಸಿಗೆ ಕಾಲವಾಗಿರುವುದರಿಂದ  ಕುಡಿಯುವ ನೀರಿನ ಅಭಾವವನ್ನು ನೀಗಿಸುವ ಕುರಿತು ಇಬ್ಬರು ನೋಡಲ್ ಅಧಿಕಾರಿಗಳನ್ನು ನೇಮಿಸಲಾಗಿದೆ.

                                                        ದೇವನಹಳ್ಳಿ ಯ ಇತಿಹಾಸ 

ದೇವನಹಳ್ಳಿ ಪುರಸಭೆಯು 1938 ರಲ್ಲಿ ಸ್ಥಾಪನೆಯಾಯಿತು.  ದೇವನಹಳ್ಳಿ ಪುರಸಭೆಯು ಬೆಂಗಳೂರಿನಿಂದ ಹೈದಾರಬಾದ್ ಗೆ ಹೋಗುವ ಎನ್ಎಚ್-7 ರಸ್ತೆಯಲ್ಲಿದ್ದು ಬೆಂಗಳೂರಿನಿಂದ ಸುಮಾರು 34 ಕೀಲೋಮೀಟರ್ ದೂರದಲ್ಲಿರುತ್ತದೆ.   2001 ರ ಜನಗಣತಿಯ ಪ್ರಕಾರ ದೇವನಹಳ್ಳಿ ಪುರಸಭೆ ವ್ಯಾಪ್ತಿಯಲ್ಲಿ 23,406 ಜನಸಂಖ್ಯೆಯನ್ನು ಹೊಂದಿರುತ್ತದೆ.   ದೇವನಹಳ್ಳಿ ಪುರಸಭೆ ವ್ಯಾಪ್ತಿಯಲ್ಲಿ 23 ವಾರ್ಡ್ ಗಳಿದ್ದು    23 ಚುನಾಯಿತ ಸದಸ್ಯರು ಹಾಗೂ 5 ನಾಮನಿರ್ದೇಶಿತ ಸದಸ್ಯರಿರುತ್ತಾರೆ.  ದೇವನಹಳ್ಳಿ ಪುರಸಭೆಯ ವ್ಯಾಪ್ತಿಯು ಒಟ್ಟು 16.00 ಚದುರ ಕೀಲೋಮೀಟರ್ ಗಳಿರುತ್ತದೆ. ಮೈಸೂರು ಹುಲಿ ಎಂದೆ ಪ್ರಸಿದ್ದಿ ಪಡೆದಿದ್ದ   ಟಿಪ್ಪು ಸುಲ್ತಾನರ ಜನ್ಮ ಸ್ಥಳವು ಪುರಸಭೆ ವ್ಯಾಪ್ತಿಯಲ್ಲಿದ್ದು ಈ ಸ್ಥಳವು ಪುರಾತತ್ವ ಇಲಾಖೆಗೆ ಒಳಪಡುತ್ತದೆ. ದೇವನಹಳ್ಳಿ ಯಲ್ಲಿ 1501 ನೇ  ಇಸವಿಯ ಪುರಾತನ ಕೋಟೆ ಇದ್ದು, ಇದು ಸಹ ಪುರಾತತ್ವ ಇಲಾಖೆಗೆ ಒಳಪಡುತ್ತದೆ.  ಪ್ರವಾಸ ತಾಣವೆಂದೆ ಪ್ರಸಿದ್ದಿ ಪಡೆದ ನಂದಿಬೆಟ್ಟವು ಸುಮಾರು 20 ಕೀಲೋಮೀಟರ್ ದೂರದಲ್ಲಿರುತ್ತದೆ. ಬೆಂಗಳೂರು ಅಂತರ್ ರಾಷ್ಷೀಯ ವಿಮಾನ ನಿಲ್ದಾಣವು ದೇವನಹಳ್ಳಿಯಿಂದ 6.5 ಕೀಲೋಮೀಟರ್  ದೂರದಲ್ಲಿರುತ್ತದೆ. ದೇವನಹಳ್ಳಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಹಾರ್ಡ್ ವೇರ್ ಪಾರ್ಕ್ ನ್ನು ಸ್ಥಾಪಿಸಲು ಉದ್ದೇಶಿಸಲಾಗಿದೆ . ದೇವನಹಳ್ಳಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಪ್ರಸಿದ್ದವಾದ ಪುರಾತನ ಕಾಲದ ವೇಣುಗೋಪಾಲ ಸ್ವಾಮಿ ದೇವಸ್ಥಾನವಿದ್ದು ಈ ದೇವಾಲಯದ ಒಡವೆಗಳು ಕೋಟ್ಯಾಂತರ ಬೆಲೆ ಬಾಳುವಂತಹದಾಗಿರುತ್ತದೆ. ಹಾಗೂ ವರ್ಷಕೊಮ್ಮೆ ನಡೆಯುವ ಜಾತ್ರೆ ಸಮಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಈ ದೇವರನ್ನು ನೋಡಲು ಜನಸಾಗರವೇ ಹರಿದು ಬರುತ್ತದೆ.

                                                                Devanahalli Town Profile

The Town Municipal Council (TMC) Devanahalli was constituted in 1938.  It is situated along Bangalore - Hyderabad National Highway No.7 at a distance of 34 Kms from Bangalore. Devanahalli town is a historic place where 'Tiger of Mysore' Tippu sultan was born, the birth place now comes under archeological department. The Devanahalli fort  now comes under the archeological department.The Town has the famous Venugopal swamy temple having jewellary which is said to be worth in crores.The Nandi hills stands at 20 Kms North-West of the Town. The new international airport is just 6.5 kms from the Town. There is a proposal for development of a hardware park near Devanahalli. It has a population of 23,406 as per census 2001. The TMC has 23 wards and equal number of councilors and 5 Numbers of Nominee Councilors.  Devanahalli TMC stretches to an area of 16.50 Sq Kms.

ದೇವನಹಳ್ಳಿ ಪುರಸಭೆ ವ್ಯಾಪ್ತಿಯ 23 ವಾರ್ಡ್ ಗಳ  ಆಸ್ತಿಗಳನ್ನು ಗುರುತಿಸಿ, ಆಸ್ತಿ ವಿವರಗಳನ್ನು ಸಂಗ್ರಹಿಸಿ ಗಣಕೀಕೃತ ಗೊಳಿಸಿದ್ದು  ನಾಗರಿಕರು ತಮ್ಮ ಆಸ್ತಿಗಳ ಮಾಹಿತಿಯನ್ನು ನೋಡಿ ಇದರ ಸೌಲಭ್ಯವನ್ನು ಪಡೆಯಬಹುದಾಗಿರತ್ತದೆ.

1990 ನೇ ಸಾಲಿನಿಂದ ಈವರೆಗೆ ಜನನ ಮತ್ತು ಮರಣ ದಾಖಲೆಗಳನ್ನು ಗಣಕೀಕೃತಗೊಳಿಸಿದ್ದು, ನಾಗರೀಕರು ಇನ್ನು ಮುಂದೆ ಜನನ-ಮರಣ ಪ್ರಮಾಣ ಪತ್ರಗಳನ್ನು ನಿಗಧಿತ ಶುಲ್ಕ ಪಾವತಿಸಿ ಪಡೆಯಬಹುದಾಗಿರುತ್ತದೆ.

ದೇವನಹಳ್ಳಿ ಪುರಸಭೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಸಾರ್ವಜನಿಕ ಕುಂದುಕೊರತೆಯ ಘಟಕವನ್ನು ಸ್ಥಾಪಿಸಿದ್ದು ಸಾರ್ವಜನಿಕರು ಖುದ್ದಾಗಿ ಬಂದು ಅಥವಾ ದುರವಾಣಿ ಮುಖಾಂತರ 08027682211,ಅಂತರ್ ಜಾಲದಲ್ಲಿ ತಮ್ಮ ದೂರುಗಳನ್ನು ನೊಂದಾಯಿಸಬಹುದಾಗಿರುತ್ತದೆ ಹಾಗೂ ಇದರ ಸೌಲಭ್ಯವನ್ನು ಪಡೆಯಬಹುದಾಗಿರುತ್ತದೆ.
